Apple's version of "push" isn't push at all!

So this is what kills me on a daily basis I hear iphone users tell me crazy things like they have push email, or they can multitask. You may think this is true, but upon closer inspection it's all smoke and mirrors. When you receive a push email on your blackberry RIM is doing all the work on the back end constantly checking with your inbox to see if there is mail, the second, not the minute, the second your inbox receives an email RIM pushes that to your device, your device never requests for the information it simply receives it. For the user this means faster email delivery and less data used, and less money spent! So can someone explain to me how you can consider it a push service when the device has to ask the server every 15 minutes... Now on to multi tasking, what in the world does apple consider multi tasking? More on that to come!
