Never Have Your Dog Stuffed and Other Things I've Learned

I just recently finished reading Never Have Your Dog Stuffed and Other Thing's I've Learned The amazing story of Alan AKA Hawkeye Alda. I grew up watching MASH reruns on TV with my parents, mainly my dad, we shared a love for the aloof humour of Alda and when I was a teen and  he took his place on the West Wing my parents were surprised to me interested in the show that I use to say was boring. It wasn't the same as MASH that's for sure but his skill on the screen translated and brought me back time and time again. So when my dad handed me Never Have Your Dog Stuffed and Other Things I've Learned I knew I was in for a treat.  With a title like that you really shouldn't need me to tell you this book is full of hilarious anecdotes and leaves you envious that your life is so boring. Alda didn't come from your average family in the suburbs his father was an actor and made his living playing small clubs until fame earned him a meager living, as for his mother she tried to stab his father with a paring knife, but that's just the first chapter, follow Alda through his whole life and see how he has ended up the man he is today. I FUCKING loved this book! (Yes mom it did require me to swear there.)
