California Man Sentenced 3-8 Years For Stealing Cheese

Due to the "three strikes" law a California man has been sentenced up to eight years in prison for stealing a bag of cheese worth $3.99. Critics claim it shows a need for reform of the state's justice system.

Robert Ferguson, who prosecutors say has a nearly 30 year record for burglary and other offences, avoided a life sentence after a psychological review deemed him bipolar and unable to avoid urges of kleptomania. Your crazy, so you don't have to go to jail forever just for eight years, then you will be really crazy and we'll keep ya hear forever...
California has a hugely overpopulated prison system, as do most states in America, but California has sent nearly 800 inmates out of state, yeah they're outsourcing prisons... seriously?
Out of state is one thing, what's going to happen when they can't fit us all here, sent us to Syria?
