Seven killed by bike bomb near Afghan bus station

The BBC reported that a bomb left on a bicycle near a bus station in the southern Afghan city of Lashkar Gah  has left 7 civilians dead and injured at least 14.

Currently 15 000 Nato and Afghan troops are involved in a ten day old offensive around the city of Marjah which is a Taliban stronghold. "The blast was caused by explosives attached to a bicycle and was controlled remotely" Dawud Ahmadi, spokeswoman for Helmand's provincial government was qupted by Reuters as saying.
