Google is looking to the future, they see a day where full length hd movies are downloaded in less than 5 minutes, students and working professionals will be able to collaborate on projects that involve huge amounts of data, such as 3d streaming video. with speeds this fast you could stream live music with zero lag essentially allowing musicians to not only jam over ip but also record high quality audio and video at the same time.
